ApparelX is pleased to announce that we have developed and released ApparelX Global™, which has cross-border e-commerce functionality, in order to make the apparel industry in Japan and the world a better place. First of all, we will introduce Japan's wonderful textile and secondary materials to overseas countries together with Japanese manufacturers. We also provide high-quality textile and secondary materials from overseas to Japanese apparel manufacturers and sewing factories. Furthermore, we aim to create a platform that connects logistics bases around the world and realizes true global sourcing.

What is ApparelX Global™?

It is a platform that can globally procure apparel materials such as textile and accessory materials, and provides three functions: 1) Exporting Japanese materials overseas, 2) Importing overseas materials into Japan, and 3) Procuring locally.

Features of ApparelX Global™

• Multilingual function ~ As the first phase, it supports five languages: English, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Vietnamese, and Korean. Our unique translation system using AI also supports specialized terminology in the fashion industry. We also provide translations supervised by native speakers. The second phase will include Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Hindi.
• Multi-currency function ~ Supports US dollar, pound, euro, Chinese yuan, New Taiwan dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Vietnamese dong, won, and Japanese yen. Plans to expand in the future.
• International Shipping ~ We built a site that makes it easy to order by presetting the weight of each product in the system and linking it with EMS, DHL, UGX, and OCS price lists. *Currently, delivery of some boxes may be delayed due to the effects of the new coronavirus, but we are flexibly changing delivery methods to deliver the items.
• We have dedicated concierges in each country ~ We have already hired several foreign employees and are quickly responding to email inquiries and Zoom business negotiations in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
• Providing social functions and ERP services ~ We aim to become a platform for international logistics including apparel products by releasing social functions such as business matching and blogging services that have already been rolled out in Japan, as well as ERP services for import and export operations.
