Introduction to stretch x recycled polyester textile

Hello. This is Yamayoshi from the ApparelX Division.

Over the past year or two, I feel that inquiries about stretchy textile have been increasing.

Telework and changes in work styles.

textile are now required not only to look and feel good, but also to have functionality.

In addition, as awareness of sustainability is increasing worldwide, there is a growing demand for whether the materials used for clothing are also sustainable.

Rather than textile that are good as long as they are sustainable, we are proposing textile that can be used as fashion.

SUNWELL's textile textile TEIJIN FRONTIER 's technologies SOLOTEX® and ECOPET®.

SOLOTEX® uses fibers with a spring structure to achieve comfortable stretch without using polyurethane. ECOPET® is a textile made by recycling discarded plastic bottles and reusing them as fiber.

There are many types of fabrics, such as SOLOTEX® or recycled polyester, but this textile has both.

classification merchandise explanation Thickness Recycled material usage rate
weather cloth

twill
52248

taffeta

The bookshelf can be seen through under the fluorescent light.

As for the other textile, weather cloth has a high density, and twill has a medium thickness, so it is almost not see-through.

Also, the color variations 52248 and 52266 do not come in white, so if you are choosing white, please avoid it.

There are very few textile that are both stretchy and sustainable, so be sure to check them out.
