Hello everyone, it's been a while, it's Jane again! I haven't been able to update this blog lately as I've been busy with the ApparelX Global News project. Japanese culture is very loved in Vietnam, and there are many successful Japanese businesses in Vietnam. We would like to introduce brands that are popular among young people in Vietnam today. Most of them are chain stores or large companies that you may know. However, it may come as a surprise as your business will undergo major changes to adapt to the Vietnamese market.
1. bike
The main means of transportation in Vietnam is motorbikes. Although you can hardly see motorcycles on the streets of Japan, 97% of Vietnam's motorcycle market is Japanese motorcycles. Honda and Yamaha are two of the biggest names.
I myself have a Honda lead bike!
2. Department store
A popular weekend hangout spot: Takashimaya is located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. And Aeon Mall opened its first mall in Vietnam in 2014 and currently has several locations.
Japanese festivals and other events are often held at Aeon Mall.
3. Restaurant
Sukiya wears cute, breezy T-shirts over its uniform, while Ippudo is located in a fashionable part of the Takashimaya department store.
You can't call it a ramen shop!
Four. fashion
The opening ceremony of UNIQLO and MUJI, the first stores to open during the coronavirus period, became a hot topic in Vietnam. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have become a trending spot for those who love Japanese culture.
This is Vietnam's Flagship store!
All of the above names are large companies with branches all over the world, but when it comes to globalization, I think their brand images are completely different from those in Japan. What do you think, guys? Have you ever come across a Japanese brand store while traveling abroad? Until the end Thank you for reading! I would really appreciate it if you could share this post and support me!
