Hello.

I went to Fashion World, which was held over three days on October 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.


Many seminars were held at Fashion World.

Among them, ``Learn from the BEAMS x Starbucks collaboration that is currently attracting attention, what is the promotion strategy that will attract attention?''

I took a seminar called.


Kazuyoshi Minamakoshi of BEAMS and Kazushi Hamada of Starbucks talked about their strategies for creating collaborative products in a conversation format.


In that story, hehe! I'll write what I think.


First, when thinking about collaborative products, they thought about colors and materials that would represent the brand.

I learned that they not only include the logo but also pay close attention to the colors and materials so as not to disrupt the brand's worldview too much.


Since it was a special collaboration, they thought of something that had never been done before, something that could only be done through collaboration.

He said that by making customers feel a little uncomfortable, they will be more likely to take a second look and become interested.


However, even if the products are unusual and may make people feel uncomfortable, they are still particular about quality, culture, and story.

In fact, they use traditional dyed materials from various parts of Japan, so even if you buy it out of curiosity, I think you'll never get tired of it.


When I listened to this seminar and decided to create a collaborative product, I was surprised at how many different angles they thought about the product.

I was glad that I took the seminar because I learned something I didn't know.

I hope to continue to actively attend seminars in the future.
