Thank you for using our services.
The Chinese New Year is almost here. I think there are many Japanese users of ApparelX who are expanding into China, so when is the Chinese New Year period? I think this is an important point that you should definitely know, so I would like to share information about the Chinese New Year.
Since Chinese New Year is a long holiday in China, purchasing and customer stores such as Alibaba and Taobao will be closed.
Not only that, but product manufacturing factories and transportation companies will also be suspended. In other words, business in China as a whole will be suspended and no purchases will be made during this period.
Labor Day in May and National Day in October are also major holidays in China. please note.
Chinese New Year is also called Lunar New Year. It refers to New Year's Day in the lunar calendar, and mainly refers to January 1st. It is not only a holiday in China, but also in countries such as Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
The 2023 Chinese New Year period will be from January 21st to 27th. (China's Labor Day in May and National Day in October follow the Western calendar.)
2023 Korean Lunar New Year (Solnal): 3 days from January 21st to January 23rd
2023 Vietnam Tet period (Lunar New Year): 7 days from January 20th (Friday) to January 26th (wood)
2023 China Taiwan Spring Festival (Lunar New Year): January 20th (Friday) to January 29th (Sunday)
2023 Chinese New Year in Hong Kong: January 22nd (Sunday) – 25th (Wednesday)
2023 Singapore-style mobile holidays: January 22nd and 23rd
Malaysian New Year 2023: January 22nd to 23rd, Sunday to Monday
I think many companies expanding into China use the services of SF express logistics company. ApparelX Global also uses the SF express service for China.
We would like to share SF express's business hours for Chinese New Year in 2023.
SF Express will continue to operate normally in Japan, but due to the closure of import and export customs clearance operations in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, there will be delays in local collection and delivery services. Please see below for the schedule for some Chinese gateways.
